Copper Soars Over 1%

COMEX Copper surges over 1% on Thursday. The red metal continues to bounce from a five week low. The counter is currently trading up 1.30% at $4.66 per pound. Meanwhile in Asia, China?s Shanghai Composite index fell 0.54% while Japan?s Nikkei 225 index gained 0.55%. Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index edged up 0.28% too, making it a mostly positive day for the regional stocks. European stocks edged up. German DAX rose 0.69% and French CAC added 0.40%. US stocks gained yesterday as Nasdaq and the S&P 500 saw further upside. The Nasdaq surged 2% and the S&P 500 added 1.2%. The DOW edged up 0.3%.
