Crude Holds Around Seven Week High

WTI Crude oil futures are lingering around $81 per barrel ahead of the US EIA weekly inventories data. Oil has edged up recently and holds around seven week high right now. Equities were mixed today. China?s Shanghai Composite index dipped 0.40% to test two month low while Japan?s Nikkei 225 index added 0.16% today. Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index lost 0.52%. European stocks saw good gains today. German DAX index rose 0.65% and French CAC added 0.90% on the day. US equities were shut for a public holiday yesterday.
