Copper pauses around three week high

COMEX Copper futures edged up today but gains were limited amid mostly steady equities. The red metal paused around three week high and currently trades at $4.17 per pound, up 0.43% on the day. Sustained upmove in LME copper inventory and worries over Chinese economy are capping major gains for copper though a deep slide in US dollar index is pushing it up after recent decline to four month low.
