Weekly Silver Review: COMEX futures consolidate around one month high

Silver futures stayed largely supported amid firm cues from Gold and Copper. Positive cues from equities amid a sustained fall in the US dollar index also boosted the metal as COMEX futures hit a one month high of $30 per ounce. Indian demand is expected to pick up in coming festive season following a recent correction in spot prices. MCX Silver futures approached near Rs 86000 per kg mark before witnessing a consolidation. India's Silver imports value spiked on a monthly basis in July, jumping 281%. Silver imports in first four months of current fiscal also soared nearly 200%.
