Natural Gas futures edged up today, hitting one week highs as sentiments stayed supported amid a drop in rig count. However, the undertone was fairly lax amid weak equities and a sharp correction in key industrial commodities like Crude oil and Copper. US Natural Gas futures are quoting at $2.13 per mmbtu, up 0.33% on the day. Meanwhile, Asian markets fell with China's Shanghai Composite index holding around seven week low. Hong Kong's Hang Seng eased 0.23%. European stocks fell amid lack of major economic cues. US stock market was closed yesterday in observance of Labour Day. MCX Natural Gas futures are in red at Rs 179.70 per mmbtu, down 2.65% on the day.
