Copper gains after losing more than a percent in last session

Copper tanked yesterday as concerns over global trade frictions weighed on the red metal. The counter lost more than 1.20% yesterday and tested around one week low. COMEX Copper bounced today though as steady US equities capped losses. It currently trades up around 0.75% at $4.07 per pound. In Asian equities, China's Shanghai Composite index jumped 1.53% while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index spiked 2.32%. Japanese Nikkei index fell 0.80%. European markets dipped with French CAC shedding 1.10%. The US stocks saw a good recovery in intraday moves. Dow added 0.3% to hit fresh record high. The S&P 500 rose 0.6% to set record closing high above 6k. Nasdaq index also gained 0.6%.
