COMEX Copper futures edged up to around one week high of $4.17 per pound as a sustained drop in LME Copper inventories. Equities were muted though amid lack of overnight cues from US markets. China's Shanghai Composite index added 0.83% amid continued bargain buying. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index rose 0.29% while Japanese Nikkei index fell 0.37%. European markets saw very sluggish moves ahead of the weekend. The US stocks were shut due to Thanksgiving Day holiday yesterday. Copper failed to sustain intraday gains amid these cues and currently trades flat at $4.14 per pound.
