MCX Evening Wrap: Base metals well supported, Zinc spikes more than 1%

MCX Copper futures held up in a range after ending marginally on a positive note in last session. The counter briefly fell in red in afternoon trades and currently quotes at Rs 799 per kg, up 0.08% on the day. MCX Aluminium is up 0.50% at Rs 240.30 per kg though highs above Rs 241.50 per kg mark in morning have arrested the upside. MCX Zinc is up 1.15% at Rs 281.85 per kg while Lead is up 0.03% at Rs 176.40 per kg.
