Copper soars to three month high near $4.50 per pound

COMEX Copper futures soared today on falling LME Copper inventories and firm equities supported the commodity. The counter had edged up around 2% yesterday and added to these gains to hit three month high. It currently trades up 0.57% at $4.47 per pound. Meanwhile, Asian stocks rose after yesterday's losses today. China's Shanghai Composite index gained 1.27%. Japanese Nikkei average added 0.61%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index spiked 1.43%. European stocks saw good upside with major indices jumping around 1%. The US stocks edged up in last session amid sideways trades. The Dow rose 0.7% while the S&P 500 climbed 0.4% and the Nasdaq gained 0.2%.
