Weekly Silver Review: COMEX Silver softens after hitting two week high
08-Mar-2025 14:43
COMEX Silver futures eased a bit after hitting two week highs above $33 per ounce. The commodity raced up after falling near $31 per ounce in last week of February as weak US dollar propped up precious metals. A spike in Copper also boosted Silver as the metal extended its broad winning run this year. MCX Silver futures moved up above Rs 98300 per kg and near term focus will likely shift to retail market demand. Weakness in the US dollar clubbed with the recent downtick in Bitcoin seems to be benefitting bullion prices. For Silver, broad trends in equities will also likely be critical from hereon as the metal has soared around 12.57% year to date.
