Economic Buzz: Australia's house approvals fall 4.5% in March to 13-month low

Private house approvals in Australia dropped 4.5 percent in March 2025 to 8,804 units, hitting a 13-month low and ending three months of growth. The decline was led by Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales, while Western Australia and South Australia saw gains. This was the sharpest fall since January 2024.
