Economic Buzz: France manufacturing sentiment dips to 97 in May

France's manufacturing climate index dropped to 97 in May 2025 from 100 in April, the lowest since February. The fall was led by weaker order books and a negative shift in production prospects. Sentiment declined in food and transport sectors but improved in machinery and equipment.
