OPEC's latest monthly oil report maintained a steady global growth outlook, with world GDP forecast at 2.9% for 2025 and 3.1% for 2026, supported by solid momentum in the first half of the year. The US is expected to grow 1.7% in 2025, while China leads major economies with a 4.6% forecast. India remains the standout with a robust 6.5% growth projection for both 2025 and 2026. Economic forecasts for the Eurozone, Japan, Brazil, and Russia were also left unchanged, reinforcing confidence in a broadly stable global recovery.
