MCX Afternoon Wrap: Base metals swell, Zinc spikes impressively to approach near Rs 265 mark

Base metals gained across the board on the MCX today. MCX benchmark April Copper futures are well supported and hit a high of Rs 890 per kg. The counter is currently up 0.65% to trade at Rs 888.30 per kg. MCX Aluminum futures added 0.44% to trade at Rs 250.25 per kg. MCX Zinc futures spiked 1.78% to trade at Rs 263.15 per kg after hitting near Rs 265 per kg. MCX Lead futures are up 0.39% to trade at Rs 178.70 per kg.
