Energy Preview: Crude oil cautious ahead of key monthly updates

WTI Crude futures consolidated around $64 per barrel on Monday. Major gains were capped due to firm US dollar, as the dollar index rose to a one-week high. Also, expectations that the US and Russia are working toward an agreement to end the Ukraine war are weighing on crude prices. Overall mood is cautious ahead of the release of key monthly updates from IEA, EIA and OPEC.
