Hot Commodities: Silver sizzles to 14-year high above $41 per ounce, spikes 11% in Aug-25

COMEX Silver futures have shot up today, building onto awesome gains seen in previous month as a generally upbeat undertone in precious metals is boosting the mood. COMEX Silver has hit fresh 14-year high today as a break above $40 per ounce supported the overall momentum. The counter currently trades at $41.37 per ounce, up 1.50% on the day. Silver surged around 11% in Aug-25. On MCX, Silver futures are trading at Rs 124295 per kg, up 2% on the day, benefitting further from sustained losses in the Indian Rupee. INR is at a fresh low at 88.26 per US dollar, down 17 paise on the day.
