Energy Preview: WTI crude oil futures linger around two-week low
WTI crude oil prices slipped to a two week low under $62 per barrel mark amid lingering oversupply concerns. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' (OPEC) second-largest producer has reportedly increased oil exports under an OPEC+ agreement. It also estimates September's exports to range from 3.4 million to 3.45 million barrels per day (bpd). Meanwhile, persistent geopolitical tensions in Russia and the Middle East are expected to limit sharp losses in oil prices. The American Petroleum Institute (API) weekly crude oil stock report later on Tuesday is awaited for further cues. Currently, the counter is quoting at $61.97 per barrel, down half a percent on the day.
