Economic Buzz: China GDP grows 4.5% in Q4

China's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 4.5% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Monday.

Despite the slowdown when compared to the 4.8% growth seen in the third quarter, full-year GDP expanded 5%, meeting China's annual growth target.

Economic output rose 1.2% on a quarterly basis, slightly above expectations.
