Energy Preview: WTI crude oil eases below $60 per barrel mark
WTI crude oil prices linger under $60 per barrel on Wednesday morning in Asia following a near 2% surge in the previous session. Price climbed yesterday amid the escalating Greenland crisis and an unplanned outage at a major Kazakhstan field. Besides, fears of a worsening US-EU trade war could hurt market sentiment and cap the upside for commodity. The release of weekly crude oil stockpiles by API and EIA are keenly awaited for further cues. Currently, the counter is quoting at $59.82, down almost 1% on the day.
