MCX Morning Wrap: Metals see hefty correction, Nickel and Copper tumble

Base metals slumped today, giving up some of the hefty gains recorded this week. MCX February 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1371.80 per kg, down around 2.80% on the day as a tumble under Rs 1400 per kg mark led to extreme correction. MCX Aluminum futures are down 2% to trade at Rs 334.70 per kg. MCX Zinc futures lost 1.82% to trade at Rs 334.55 per kg. MCX Lead futures pared 2.26% on the day to trade at Rs 197.10 per kg. Nickel futures melted 3.43% to trade at Rs 1663 per kg.
