Natural Gas gains on supply worries, hit one-month high

The US Natural Gas futures rose to one-month high today as global gas supplies are taking a sizable hit. Europe is facing a renewed gas crisis as storage levels are falling after Qatar shut down the world's largest LNG facility. The Strait of Hormuz disruption and insurer pullbacks have slowed LNG shipping ahead of winter demand. The US Natural Gas soared 6% on Friday and is up 6.40% today to trade at $3.38 per barrel. The counter surged 11% on the day. MCX Natural Gas futures are trading at Rs 311.30 per mmbtu, up 5.31% on the day. The counter hit highs above Rs 322 per barrel in morning.
