MCX Evening Update: Precious metals slide in volatile trades, Silver sheds more than 1%

MCX precious metals fell in volatile trades today. Gold futures are trading at Rs 160825 per 10 grams, down 0.50% on the day with highs around Rs 161300-161500 range capping upside. MCX Silver futures are down 1.16% at Rs 265169 per kg. Movement has been sideways today after opening lower with lows around Rs 260800-261000 zone providing support for the counter.
