Economic Buzz: German business morale improves in May

German business morale unexpectedly improved in May, a survey showed on Friday. The Ifo institute said its business climate index rose to 84.9 compared to a revised 84.5 in April.However, the index remained weak, highlighting growing concerns about the Middle East conflict's impact on Germany's fragile economic recovery.
