MCX Afternoon Update: Energy counters see deep slide, Natural Gas under Rs 300 per mmbtu

MCX Crude oil futures saw a hefty slide in afternoon trades as global cues turn bearish after WTI futures broke under $90 per barrel. The counter is currently trading at Rs 8578 per barrel, down 1.70% on the day. It had started in green but highs around Rs 8800 per barrel capped upside. MCX Natural Gas is also down 2% at Rs 299.60 per mmbtu.
