MCX Afternoon Update: Crude sees fresh selloff in European trades, Local futures break under Rs 8K

MCX Crude oil futures are in a freefall. Crude oil prices tumbled to their lowest level in nearly two months on Friday as optimism over a potential US-Iran peace agreement eased fears of supply disruptions in the Middle East. WTI July futures saw intense selloff in European trades and are currently down 4.50% at$83.77 per barrel. MCX Crude has lost around 5% at Rs 7982 per barrel.
