Economic Buzz: Fed has no tolerance for persistently elevated inflation, says Warsh

The US Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh spoke to the House Financial Services Committee as part of the congressionally mandated semiannual monetary policy report. In remarks prepared for the appearance, Warsh noted to be vigilant in order to bring inflation to the Fed's 2% target. The members of FOMC have no tolerance for persistently elevated inflation. And we share a resolute commitment to restoring price stability, according to Warsh.
