The United Kingdom's Rightmove House Price Index edged up to -0.4% year-on-year in July 2025, up from a revised -0.5% in June, according to latest data. This marginal improvement suggests the UK housing market may be approaching a period of stabilization after months of subdued activity and price drop. The Rightmove House Price Index measures the change in average asking prices for properties listed on the platform across England, Scotland, and Wales. The year-on-year figure for July 2025 marks a 0.1 percentage point improvement from the previous month's -0.5% reading.
