Copper corrects after recent gains

COMEX Copper eased a bit today after hitting one-month high. The metal was some profit selling and currently quotes down 0.65% at $6.51 per pound even as equities stayed largely supported. In Asia, China's Shanghai Composite index was flat while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index eased 1%. Japan's Nikkei 225 index fell 0.18%. European markets saw good gains. German DAX added 0.55%. COMEX copper saw a more than 3% surge yesterday amid positive US equities. The major averages on Wall Street moved notably higher, with the Nasdaq leading the charge. The US stocks moved higher Tuesday. The S&P 500 climbed 0.9%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.7% and the Nasdaq spiked 1.3%.
