Economic Buzz: Australia unemployment rate at 4.4% in June

Australia's unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.4% in June, according to data released on Thursday by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).

Total employment rose to more than 14.82 million people. Full-time employment fell by 29,300 jobs, while part-time employment increased by 47,000.

The bureau noted that the participation rate went up to 67%.
