Copper softens, equities ease in Europe

COMEX Copper futures corrected from one-week high today. Equities are mixed globally. Asian markets saw modest gains. European markets turned lower across the board. Copper is down around 1% at $6.43 per pound. The metal has generally trended higher this month, soaring around 3% but a firm undertone in the US dollar is capping the upside now. MCX Copper is down 0.33% at Rs 1332.30 per kg as weak Indian Rupee limited gains.
