MCX Evening Update: Bullion futures under stress, Silver slides around 2%

MCX Gold futures have turned lower today amid bleak global cues and the benchmark contract is down 0.93% at Rs 142839 per 10 grams. The open interest in the counter is up modestly. MCX Silver also lost 2.10% to trade at Rs 216529 per kg. DOW futures are up 0.74% and are indicating a robust open for the US equities.
