MCX Gold futures are trading on a positive note today. The benchmark Aug-26 contract is higher by 0.58% at Rs 142501 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 141426-142800 per 10 grams. Silver is marginally higher by 0.52% at Rs 221250 per kg. The open interest in the counter edged up by 0.82% to 31250 lots. In global equities, US markets are in negative territory. S&P 500 have fallen 1.46%. In Europe, CAC 40 advanced 1.01% and DAX Performance Index inched higher 0.50%.
