MCX Gold futures are trading in the red today. The benchmark Aug-26 contract is firmly lower by 1.04% at Rs 141588 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 140850-142899 per 10 grams. Silver is up 0.07% at Rs 220040 per kg. The open interest in the counter advanced by 2.73% to 31406 lots. In global equities, US markets are in positive territory. S&P 500 risen slightly 0.70%. In Europe, CAC 40 inched higher 0.28% and DAX Performance Index ticked up 0.04%. MCX Copper futures remained flat at Rs 1341 per kg.
