Gold holding steady, Silver up 1.97%

MCX Gold futures are trading in the green today. The benchmark Aug-26 contract is up 1.09% at Rs 142635 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 141381-142680 per 10 grams. Silver is substantially higher by 1.97% at Rs 223797 per kg. The open interest in the counter drifted lower by 0.49% to 31570 lots. In global equities, US markets are in positive territory. S&P 500 have climbed 1.47%. In Europe, FTSE 100 moved up 0.30% and DAX Performance Index edged up 0.26%. MCX Copper futures are trading higher by 1.58% at Rs 1368 per kg.
