Gold holding steady, Silver up 2.19%

MCX Gold futures are trading deep in the green today. The benchmark Aug-26 contract is significantly higher by 1.85% at Rs 145375 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 142998-145375 per 10 grams. Silver is sharply higher by 2.19% at Rs 228700 per kg. The open interest in the counter slipped by 1.77% to 30840 lots. In global equities, US markets are expected to open in green. S&P 500 have soared 1.77%. In Europe, FTSE 100 edged up 0.53% and CAC 40 ticked up 0.12%. MCX Copper futures are slightly higher by 0.31% at Rs 1369 per kg.
