MCX Gold futures are trading on a positive note today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is higher by 0.35% at Rs 151002 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 149750-151894 per 10 grams.The counter has surged by 5.51% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter climbed by 2.11% to 32319 lots. Silver is firmer by 0.87% at Rs 234729 per kg. The open interest in the counter jumped by 3% to 28973 lots. In global equities, US markets are set for a positive start. S&P 500 edged up 0.59%. In Europe, CAC 40 inched higher 0.04% and DAX Performance Index moved up 0.03%.
