MCX Gold futures are trading in negative territory today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is marginally lower by 0.34% at Rs 153119 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 152160-153751 per 10 grams.The counter has jumped by 4.38% over last one-week. Silver is slightly lower by 0.63% at Rs 237172 per kg. The open interest in the counter edged up by 1.05% to 27228 lots. In global equities, US markets are set for a positive start. DOW futures edged up 0.33%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index ticked up 0.11% and CAC 40 edged lower 0.04%. MCX Copper futures are slightly higher by 0.09% at Rs 1376 per kg.
