MCX Zinc down 0.08%, Copper holds firm

MCX Copper futures are are trading on a positive note, up 0.12% at Rs 1377 per kg right now. The counter was marginally higher by 0.12% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures rose to an intraday high of Rs 1379 per kg today and have witnessed a significant 3.04% decrease in the open interest. US equities are modestly higher with NASDAQ Composite is inching up 0.47% on the day.MCX Copper is extending gains for third consecutive session. In other metals, Zinc is down 0.08% at Rs 395 per kg, Aluminium is down by 1.16% at Rs 349 per kg, Lead is modestly lower by 0.63% at Rs 197 per kg while Nickel is trading slightly lower by 0.64% at Rs 1604 per kg. Copper is up around 0.10% in the last one week followed by Zinc, which has edged up by 0.88%.
