Gold in the green, Silver up remained flat

MCX Gold futures are trading with modest gains today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is higher by 0.27% at Rs 152730 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 150802-153076 per 10 grams.The counter has surged by 3.25% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter rose by 2.48% to 30421 lots. Silver remained flat at Rs 236510 per kg. The open interest in the counter moved higher by 1.10% to 27093 lots. In global equities, US markets are expected to open in red. DOW futures have edged lower 0.09%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index edged up 0.40% and CAC 40 ticked up 0.04%.
