MCX Zinc up 1.03%, Copper remains steady

MCX Copper futures are are trading on a positive note, up 0.09% at Rs 1377 per kg right now. The counter was marginally higher by 0.06% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures rose to an intraday high of Rs 1382 per kg today and have seen a modest increase of 0.40% in the open interest. US equities are modestly lower with S&P 500 is inching down 0.19% on the day.MCX Copper is extending gains for fourth consecutive session. In other metals, Zinc is gaining 1.03% at Rs 399 per kg, Aluminium is modestly higher by 0.58% at Rs 349 per kg, Nickel is marginally lower by 0.62% at Rs 1594 per kg while Lead is modestly lower by 0.15% at Rs 197 per kg. MCX Zinc has added around 0.06% in the last one week followed by Copper, which is down around 0.01%.
