MCX Gold futures are trading on a weak note today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is slightly lower by 0.40% at Rs 153952 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 153622-154250 per 10 grams.The counter has grew by 1.84% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter dropped by 2.72% to 29381 lots. Silver is lower by 1.08% at Rs 236697 per kg. The open interest in the counter edged lower by 1.11% to 26595 lots. In global equities, US markets are set for a negative start. DOW futures have posted modest losses of 0.04%. In Europe, FTSE 100 ticked up 0.26% and DAX Performance Index slipped 0.25%.
