Natural Gas trading higher, Crude Oil up 1.08%

MCX Crude Oil futures are trading with gains today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Aug-26 contract is higher by 1.08% at Rs 8148 per barrel. US equities are modestly lower with Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading slightly lower by 0.20% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8225 per barrel today and have recorded a strong rise of 92.41% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is extending gains for third consecutive session. The counter moved higher by 0.01% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Natural Gas is firmly higher by 1.43% at Rs 262 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 258-262 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter declined sharply by 7.69%. Crude Oil has gained around 3.32% in the last one week while Natural Gas has slipped around 3.19%.
