Copper down 0.97%, MCX Zinc stays under pressure

MCX Copper futures are are in negative territory, lower by 0.97% at Rs 1370 per kg right now. The counter was marginally lower by 0.46% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures slipped to an intraday low of Rs 1384 per kg today and have recorded a steep drop of 3.72% in the open interest. US equities are weak with Dow Jones Industrial Average is inching down 0.21% on the day.MCX Copper is slipping for third consecutive session. In other metals, Nickel is marginally higher by 0.29% at Rs 1600 per kg, Aluminium is down by 1.11% at Rs 348 per kg, Zinc is marginally lower by 0.94% at Rs 397 per kg while Lead is down 0.25% at Rs 198 per kg. MCX Zinc has added around 1.78% in the last one week followed by Copper, gaining around 0.46%.
