Natural Gas recording strong gains, Crude Oil up 1.47%

MCX Crude Oil futures are trading with gains today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Aug-26 contract is firmly higher by 1.47% at Rs 8265 per barrel. US equities are slightly higher with S&P 500 is trading slightly higher by 0.49% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8282 per barrel today and have seen a sharp decline of 25.83% in open interest. MCX Crude oil rises up for fourth consecutive session. The counter advanced by 1.25% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Natural Gas is substantially higher by 2.30% at Rs 271 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 265-275 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter slumped 21.07%. Crude Oil has added around 2.63% in the last one week while Natural Gas has edged lower by 0.23%.
