MCX Zinc up 0.39%, Copper holds firm

MCX Copper futures are are in positive territory, moving up by 0.28% at Rs 1372 per kg right now. The counter was slightly higher by 0.56% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures scaled an intraday high of Rs 1374 per kg today and have witnessed a significant 4.79% decrease in the open interest. US equities are slightly higher with S&P 500 is modestly higher by 0.44% on the day.MCX Copper is moving higher for fourth consecutive session. In other metals, Zinc is up 0.39% at Rs 399 per kg, Aluminium is trading slightly higher by 0.39% at Rs 349 per kg, Nickel is up 0.29% at Rs 1600 per kg while Lead is slightly lower by 0.08% at Rs 198 per kg. MCX Zinc has added around 1.08% in the last one week followed by Copper, down around 0.77%.
