MCX Zinc up 0.70%, Copper holds firm

MCX Copper futures are are in positive territory, moving up by 0.01% at Rs 1372 per kg right now. The counter was up 0.55% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures scaled an intraday high of Rs 1377 per kg today and have witnessed a 1.83% decline in the open interest. US equities are weak with S&P 500 is inching down 0.40% on the day.MCX Copper is up for fourth consecutive session. In other metals, Zinc is slightly higher by 0.70% at Rs 402 per kg, Aluminium is slightly lower by 0.52% at Rs 348 per kg, Lead is marginally lower by 0.20% at Rs 198 per kg while Nickel is slightly lower by 0.15% at Rs 1630 per kg. MCX Zinc is up around 0.94% in the last one week followed by Copper, which is down around 0.23%.
