Gold little changed, Silver up 1.47%

MCX Gold futures are trading with gains today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is higher by 1.16% at Rs 159857 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 158277-160555 per 10 grams.The counter has rallied 3.75% over last one-week. Silver is up 1.47% at Rs 248098 per kg. The open interest in the counter slumped by 4.62% to 23257 lots. The metal climbed by 2.73% in last session. In global equities, US markets are likely to open on a positive note. DOW futures edged up 0.67%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index moved up 0.49% and FTSE 100 inched higher 0.30%.
