Natural Gas surging, Crude Oil down 0.08%

MCX Crude Oil futures are trading on a weak note today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is marginally lower by 0.08% at Rs 8295 per barrel. US equities are slightly higher with Dow Jones Industrial Average is modestly higher by 0.77% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8384 per barrel today and have recorded a slight rise of 1.52% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is lower for fourth consecutive session. The counter edged lower by 0.49% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Natural Gas is significantly higher by 2.07% at Rs 266 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 263-268 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter dropped sharply by 22.69%. Crude Oil has climbed 6.92% in the last one week while Natural Gas has risen around 0.19%.
