MCX Gold futures are trading in the green today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is up 1.08% at Rs 162655 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 159458-162868 per 10 grams.The counter has soared by 5.04% over last one-week. The metal gained modestly by 1.83% in last session. Silver is marginally higher by 0.41% at Rs 248913 per kg. The open interest in the counter slumped by 3.32% to 20999 lots. In global equities, US markets are set for a negative start. DOW futures eased 0.10%. In Europe, FTSE 100 edged lower 0.02% and DAX Performance Index moved down 0.03%.
