MCX Zinc up 1.10%, Copper remains steady

MCX Copper futures are are trading on a positive note, up 0.30% at Rs 1389 per kg right now. The counter was up 0.22% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures scaled an intraday high of Rs 1393 per kg today and have seen a sharp decline of 15.05% in the open interest. US equities Dow Jones Industrial Average is edging higher by 0.31% on the day.MCX Copper is moving higher for third consecutive session. In other metals, Zinc is firmer by 1.10% at Rs 411 per kg, Nickel is modestly higher by 0.37% at Rs 1639 per kg, Aluminium is modestly higher by 0.29% at Rs 351 per kg while Lead is slightly higher by 0.20% at Rs 198 per kg. MCX Zinc has gained around 1.71% in the last one week followed by Copper, which is up around 0.51%.
